    Madam Amara,

as you may be already aware, these wifes and children of the MPs are behaving like they own the she may have threaten the officers who were in duty, when they tried to check the vehicle of this MPs wife...i think that may have caused all the problem...

if it is the case...well done should treat all the sri lankans in the same manner...

    Dear Muni,

Treating all citizens the same is good. But you`ve got to respect all people irrespective of gender. If the two persons were male nobody would have asked whether they were gay partners or not.

Yes, in Sri Lanka everyone is respected irrespective of gender, thats why here in Sri Lanka we had the World`s first woman Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief. Sexism is lowest in Sri Lanka perhaps out of all countries.

In fact 2 years ago I saw a UN study that revealed Gender equality in the workplaces and found Sri Lanka at the top, almost no difference between men and women when it comes to salary levels, promotions etc. If I find it I will post the link.

So just worry about the western country you are living in which can`t boast of the same where women are meant to stay at home, clean the house, cook the food and get ready for bed.

It is quite possible some of these MPs may have shown

different wives at different times (I am not suggesting this particular one at all). Who knows? This is SL!

This MP and his wife must have created some problems initially for the Air force guys. Probably he muct have said he is an MP and he and his wife should be exempted from all checking. then Air Force guys gave a hard time.

Good work Air Force guys, Dont bend for this indisciplined crooks.

He shows his immaturity by bringing the marriage certificate to the pariliment.

    Other MPs dont believe him?
