Gamini Lokuge was ousted! Pleole of Colombo district know what Rajitha did for UNP (disgracing) and what Gamini L did (loads of sacrifices)!

    1. Unbearable Cost of living

    2. Tsunami victims.

    3. False promises of the UPFA (CFA, Peace talks, 70% Salary hike, Jobs for all, etc etc)

Ranil - you are on your way to lead SL. You are starting the campaign with the big cities like Colombo, Kandy, Galle, Negombo in your pocket. The most of the minority votes are also with you. Keep the momentum up in the villages and JAYA NEYATHAI!! (Vicotry assured).

THe only question is - will it be a general election or a presidential election.. CBK has one last card left to play. :)

The above comments make no sense to get our country back and running. The people of Sri Lanka is to blame for what its is today. you voted and for those who didn`t shame on you. The war that we are fighting need to come to a settlement and the Sri Lankan`s need to vote for one united party who will fight this war for the best interest for the whole country.

At the same time with the aid we are getting from all the generous countries, build more prisons and open a Ministry for Corruption. The rest will fall into place.......please vote.

One more thing - The Custom Officers at the Banaranaiyake International Airport should be trained to smile and welcome passengers on arrivals and departures.

Welcome to Sri Lanka, enjoy your stay - on arrival

How was your stay , please come back - 0n departure

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN - little things go a long way.

Many (most of sinhalas living in the west) here are promoting the jvp without knowing the reality about it..

  • 24 Aug 2005 23:20:45 GMT

Hey guys what is all this hate.

the silent majority wants a change in sri lanka. that change is not more of the same BS that is happening at the moment. the ideal world the jvp is dreaming cannot be implemented in the real world. they need to go back to the drawing room.

better start (in particular the jvpers) doing more productive things with your valuable life than writing hate blogs here.

it is going to be the UNP under the visionary leadership of ranil wickremesinghe that will take sri lanka to prosperity for the next 12 to 18 years!

    Hey Oppsy:

P3??? Has anyone heard of this organization before??? I have worked in the SL private sector for many years but never heard of this organization before.

About a months ago another unheard organization carried out a survey and that survery got a 54% support rate for ranil. However no one took this survery seriously.

One of the things the P3 surverys mentions is that, Mahinda Rajapaksha is considered by the Tsunami victims as the person to rebuild their lives. However, all one needs to find out the truth is to visit the southers costal areas and see what Mahinda has done and not done. A more realistic view of what happening in the Tsunami devastated areas is what happened at the UNP Jana bala mehayuma. If mahinda has done so much to rebuild the lives of people, why are their so many people living in refugee camps?? Why did such an unprecident crowd turn out to the Jana bala meheyuma??

Any one can put out results favorable to their candidate. But reality is a little different - Cost of living, Thousands of Tsunami victm, falser promises... etc etc...thats reality my friend.

At the Height of CBKs populality in 1995 (she was a NEW face and the people were FED up with the previous UNP governemtn after 10 years in power) and soon after winning a general election, she managed to get 62% of the popular vote.

In 2000 and 2001 election Mahinda could not win his own dist with out the JVP. And a 64% approval rating??? yeah right!!! :) :) Dream on my friend dream on....
