  • 10 May 2005 22:07:01 GMT

Ranil, There are and have been 3 Evil Forces in the Sri Lanka. Those are:

    1) LTTE

    2) JVP

    3) Bandaranaike`s

These 3 forces have destroyed our country and brought the country to a point of NO RETURN. I do not think you can correct it. These 3 forces try to convince people that they are the sole saviours.

From one evil to another. Let`s have another round!

Im all for a UNP government, because i believe that, OF THE LEADERS we have today he is the only one with a vision and the capacity to take hard decisions.

However, im totally AGAINST the UNP making a move at this moment. This pack of clows in the government should be allow to go on for at least another six months to a year so that the people of Srilanka will learn a lesson they will never ever forget, courtesy the SLFP + JVP.

The damage that has been done to the economy by this KATA PERATA government is unimaginable, so whoever takes over government after this is going to have to take some hard decisions to rebuild the economy and the people should know what the consequences are of having a bunch of lieing cheating clowns in power.

SO UNP please delay your plans. In the long run it will be better for everyone.

    Its about time Mr. Wickremasinghe...

  • 11 May 2005 06:50:25 GMT

    Dear Ranil

UNP also became an evil party when they were in power. People gave mandate to UNP but you were worse than UPFA, appointing over 70 ministers and totally living on MOU and LTTE. only talks and no works.

You are a born loser. A born loser is a person who can nt utilize the oppertunity given to him.

People of this country will never give you a chance again. if possible give an oppertunity to junior Premadasa and try again,UNP may succeed

Courty will become prosporous under a government of party X as long as Party X is in opposition. This is true for all parties X, registered in the Election department. And if anyone of them aquire majority of parliament seats it forgets to make the country prosperous, instead they make it porous. What ever the effort put by people vanishes, leakes out into no where through those holes.

Country will become prosperous under a government of party X as long as Party X is in opposition. This is true for all parties X, registered in the Election department. And if anyone of them acquire majority of parliament seats it forgets to make the country prosperous, instead they make it porous. What ever the effort put by ordinary hard working people leaks out into the pockets of the friends of the party X, now in power, through those pores. Therefore, practically nothing happens to the country, it remains the same forever. Now world bank has categorized countries in to three groups 1)Developed countries 2)Developing Countries 3)Never will develop countries. SL can become the top in the third group.

I normally do not participate, but do read and enjoy. However I want to educate (I think that should be the word use) Mr (may be Ms.) Sumudu.

Bandaranayake has done nothing to SL, but 90% of people who read even this mail are of a production of bandaranayake era. If they have not localised the education system, you won`t get any lawyer or a Chartered accountant from any where in the country, but from Colombo elite. For your happiness you may write anything but please do not change the history. If there is a person with little sense will understand, in what ever manner we argue all these current issues are dividends from 17 years JRJ regime

Ranil`s vision I guess, he elaborated some time ago when defeated in the last election, which is to bring forward the country to make it another Japan. I presume he didn`t have that vision when he was in power. Unlike Ranil, president JR said he would make the country a Singapore when he was in power. Unfortunately for him and fo rthe country, he had an evil side which surpassed the clever side always. His intention of another Singapore ended when he startd taking revenge of his political opponents, 1981 development council election fraud, 1983 referendum and specifically in 1983 riots. the 1983 referendum was a criminal act that he committed.

He did not have a proper plan for the bus service or education apart from eyeing for privatisation. Ranil will not have better plans than prez JR. He is yet to impress us. Just words won`t help. During his brief period as the PM in 2001, he was only interested in the peace deal which didn`t work out in any decent person`s favour. He didn`t have economic plans. Whoever , irrespective of what they preach, comes to power now, will have to do what the World Bank wants them to do. So Ranil must stop making ridiculous statements, this is the 21st century, instead he must try something that would work.

He has a clan of party office bearers that he himself selected who happened to be his old mates. If he is serious about the leadership, he must consult others and get the qualified for top posts. At least the public will be impressed.
