SB watched in his jail cell

I have worked with this man, he is so unqualified to serve lead the country in whatever form. He is very good at serving himself. This is the karma for double-crossing a ruling party and intimacyually harassing the sprinter Susanthika. He is where he should be now. Enjoy the two years pal.

Dear Ex mnstr SB, sorry to say, u r not a good politician. U had many bad records in ur career. The way u ruled out with Ranil`s era & even with Chandrika`s ear, not up to the satisfaction of many people.

Hey Mr. Ananda Kulathunga, I was so much astonished to see yr comments on SB. If in any case the almighty - nature will let him to be a leader of our loved country, for sure, we are all half dead.

Another pathedic situ is that, some bullies are opposing the judgment made by the courts and demanding to free SB. How a set of people can make damand like that unless they are gone off madness.

Dear SB, be safe in jail, return to your politics, but don`t repeat the wrong things what you have done thru so many years. People hate you when you do damn and brainless talking and things.

    Sunanda Wijesinghe,

    Guanzhou,

    China.

I think SB is in the right place. But that is not the thing. He was very unlikey to be the one and only person who got this promotion. You all sri lankans ! what do you think of converting Parliment in to the prison. All most all the politicians including Head of the state are big crooks and liers. They all shoud be jailed for life time with heavey work. Can you imagine head of the country changing her words every minutes and misleading the country all the time. It is a big shame for the sri lankans. I feel very very sorry about sri lankan children. All the politicins kids are getting education in abroad. And our kids are going behind the Lunatic JVP. But we can not blame them. NO option for them. May tripple gem bless for our kids!

According to the Buddhism S.B now facing?DITTA DARMA WEDANIYA KARMA?. No body can stop this karma. Absolutely this is the right place to live this kind of bustard politicians. S.B?s impressment is good example to other corrupted politicians no matter which party they are. Those politicians also now get ready to stay with S.B in same jail. I believe any person who says S.B is good politician, and then I believe those followers were poor henchmen?s of bad politicians. But I can say one thing that sooner S.B will get another extension of more that 5 years impressments based on his previous track records. This will clearly show that what a good politician he is???

SB is a man who was born an ordinary folk, just like most of us. While many of us worked hard, some were lucky enough to to get some far. Anyway, as for SB, he only did politics. He hasn`t done anything else in his life, may be he worked hard but doing politics only. Only doing politics, you can`t expect to be a multi-millionaire, just as SB is now, unless you are involved in cashing poor public.

He has a mansion in his electorate, a bungalow in Colombo, his kids travel abroad to Australia, UK, USA, France on holidays, quite frequently. According to the case filed in courts by the bribery sleuths, he had spent 29 million within four years of his political career. That`s a staggering amount of corruption. The living standards of the people in Hanguranketha, SB`s electorate is no different to what it was before he became there MP. I did vote for him in his first round but having seen what he has done, I doubt if ever I`d vote for anybody in the future.

It`s quite sad to see still some of our country men could not realize true colours of these people like SB. Simply they are Criminals, I wish if they can be sent to Saudi & behade them for looting public money

hi folks ! don`t get mixed up with the actual cause. SB is serving a prison sentence abusing the court & not for corruption.

If we all detest SB`s alleged illgotton wealth as a politician, lo & behold ! there are many such SBees in that Diyawanna Oya complex & all of them should be right now joining him behind bars.

If that was to be the case, SL parliament would have to me moved to Welikada.

Lets discuss SB`s corruption when he is sentensed for the crime. Remember, there are are many more past & present politicians who should be sent to jail before SB for emptying the government coffers.

As we have read about SB`s accumilation of wealth, we also have about Generals Certificates of Deposits, Australian Investments of Patabendi jnr., Bogallagama Graphite Scam, this is just the tip of an ice berg.

Then, we have to look into was purchases & of those tender procurements ect., All elements in this county revolve around corruption & swindling the government coffers.

In the recent Bodallagama revelation where a Ton of Graphite was sold for $ 650 when the going rate was $ 1380, would wish to see charges against Bogollagama but first the money has to be traced. Then, charges will have to be brought against the Law Professor GL Peiris, for aiding & abetting or negligence as Bogollagama came under his purview but no action was taken by him then & against the present government for entertaining an alleged thief of government property. Could we handover the investigation to Mr. Prabakaran to do justice ?

Lets be rationale. Whole bunch are thieves & let us not pin point only at an individual.

Lets promote people`s power & force all to be brought to book.

True, SB is in Jail for a different cause. He should have been there for corruption but it didnt happen because if they put him there for corruption, more than half of the parliament would have to be there and a seperate prison would have to be built in order to accomodate the corrupted politicians ( because there are so many of them )

Anyway, atleast one of the corrupts is in prison, its good for a start.I think they should go ahead and charge him for corruption too, if found guilty after an unbiased investigation. I cant wait until they start the executions, i think its a must to start executing people to punish severe crimes, so people would be scared to do crimes. But they have to make sure the law applies to everyone, including former and present politicians.

SB is the first big known corrupt politician, brought to justice by the judiciary, with great difficulty.

It`s a great victory for the man in the street, beacuse it`s their money, their future, their respect and their opportunity that was stolen by SB and the like.

I hope and pray that the leaders, the media, and after all the average Sri Lankan will have the courage to bring these pests into justice and award maxixmum penalty.

(There are many still hiding behind power, money etc.)

The benefit to the society is huge. Would-be culprits will think twice, before robbing the very people who appointed them!
