Chandrika does it again-SriLankan flight delayed

CBK needs to control her alcohol consumption on certain days of the week to get up early ,especially on overseas travel at least. I remember an occasion when Princes Ann was pacing in her room up and down at Galadari furious at CBK, being late for the set appointment. When Ranil got married ,apparently she came to the wedding so late when almost every one else had left , the married couple had to stay for the President to come. It is nothing but cussedness of CBK.

I can not understand ,how come since she is not the president any more, she could abuse power? This can happen only in Sri Lanka when back boneless Signhalese Buddhist men run the country.

As a sri lankan living overseas im ashamed to see news articles like this ! I don`t understand why someone don`t take any legal action to prevent these kind of things happening again? As a nation we`ve been shamed by this stupid lady!

No one tolerate this..,why should others face unnecessary delays because of her? Other passengers should take legal actions against authorities of the air port and claim the compensation for delay.

Isn`t there anyone at Sri Lankan airlines with the balls to say no to such irresponsible requests?

What can we do? Do we - the ordinary citizens of this country have any saying over these matters?

When I was travelling to office one day, I witnessed one of the jeeps in a motorcade travelling at a speed of at least 80kmph and hitting another vehicle, doing serious damage to the latter. The motorcade did not stop and went its way.

The owner of the damaged vehicle (a Doctor - there was a sticker on the windscreen) was looking at the bystanders with a pathetic look in his face.

Kaata kiyannada? They are the bosses and we are the salves! (praveni daasa)

Will we ever get a leader who will listen to the voice of the ordinary citizens?

    The solution is simple.

    Take off without her.

Or handover the running of the airport to the Tigers on contract.

Either way she`ll never be late again.

I was wondering how he managed to drive away after hitting a vehicle at the speed of 80kmph. Anyway, these things are common in SL. Politicians and their close allays always abuse the law and order and also they think the country is their personal property.

But, usually, we have a schedule when we travel to other country; we reserve the seats in advance and arrange all the connection flights accordingly. Delay in one flight will affect to everything and the passengers have to face all the difficulties. Normally, airlines are responsible for delays and passengers have the rights to claim against Air line.

This woman surely proves the word `USUALY LATE`.

More people ignore her the better it is for the Country?

    Delaying a plane?

I have done it twice. Both times it was a BA flight the was held (One) for fifteen minutes and the (other) for about 20 minutes as I was stuck in a traffic jam near London airport

Of course I was `then` a BA gold card holder I do it think I can do the same now as I am not a gold card holder any more.

I think it must be left to the airport authorities to sort it out. Should not be an issue for the President to handles?
