Last year, Sri Lankan Airlines helped a school - called the 911 school in that area. Some investment by Sri Lankan airlines, in the Kalutara school would help boost enrolments. Schools give the locals a feeling of importance. Emirates are reported to be involved in issue of visas. Why not one of their subsidiaries - Sri Lankan Airlines - helping educational projects? Kalutara is an important center for Buddhists. Its educational system must be strengthened.
