Earlier today, former President Wickremesinghe also came to the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court for a scheduled legal matter. The case involves a complaint against Wickremesinghe for allegedly misusing over Rs. 16.6 million in public funds. It is claimed that these funds were spent on a private trip to the United Kingdom for his wife’s graduation ceremony in 2023.
