The Immigration and Emigration Department has warned the public not to pay any brokers or outsiders to speed up passport services.
In an official notice, the department stated that all payments for passports must be made only at the Shroff counter, where an official receipt will be issued.Â
Passports must also be collected only from the passport issuing counter.
The department urged the public to cooperate to ensure a fair and smooth passport application process.
