This ancient land bridge is celebrated for its geological, historical, and mythological significance. The ancient limestone bridge is believed to have been built by Lord Ram. It continues to intrigue scientists and devotees alike, amid debates over its origin. Satellite images corroborate its existence, adding to the ongoing wonder surrounding it.
Prime Minister Modi shared a viral video of his aerial view from an Indian Air Force helicopter, which carried him from Anuradhapura to Tamil Nadu. This coincided with Ram Navami, the day marking the birth of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
“On the way back from Sri Lanka a short while ago, I was blessed to have a darshan of Ram Setu. And, as a divine coincidence, it happened at the same time as the Surya Tilak ceremony was taking place in Ayodhya. Blessed to have the darshan of both. Prabhu Shri Ram is a uniting force for all of us. May His blessings always remain upon us,†he said.
