The work on the second terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) will begin this year, Minister of Aviation Bimal Ratnayke told Parliament today.
“We will have 30 new gates at the airport by next winter,†he said.
Also he pledged to introduce a domestic aviation law to govern domestic air transportation.Â
