Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe commended his successor Anura Kumara Dissanayake for deciding to proceed with the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement with India.
“I commend President Anura Kumara Dissanayake for moving forward with the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement and the development of Trincomalee as a regional energy and industrial hub,†Wickremesinghe said in a special statement.
