A total of 55 vulnerable Sri Lankan workers have been evacuated from Lebanon, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Beirut said.Â
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Lebanon, in association with the International Organization of Migration (IOM), has arranged to evacuate the Sri Lankan workers in groups. Â
The embassy said that despite the tense situation in Lebanon, they are working with the IOM in Lebanon to continue facilitating the most needy Sri Lankans.
