The Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has told the Cabinet that they are rejecting the proposed electricity tariff revision approved by the Cabinet.
While mentioning the above matter, the PUCSL sent a written notice to the cabinet secretary yesterday, the PUCSL chairman said.
While underlining the reason to reject the cabinet decision, the chairman said there was no provision exists in the Electricity Act of 2009 to implement electricity tariff revision.
