The Pfizer vaccine has now been made available for anyone above 20 years of age and it could be obtained from respective MOH offices, the Health Ministry said today.
It said there was a considerable demand for Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. The Ministry has received a number requests in this regard on several previous occasions.
“Accordingly, the Ministry of Health has considered all such requests individually to date and, now has taken the decision to provide Pfizer-BioNTech to anyone who has turned 20 and above on request, considering such demands,†it pointed out.
“Anyone above 20 can take the COMIRNATY – Covid 19 mRNA Vaccine (Nucleoside modified -Pfizer BNT) as their primary vaccination (1st and 2nd dose) especially for those who are aspiring to go overseas for studies, overseas employment and visiting abroad (some countries),†it added.
The Ministry also instructed the recipients of Pfizer-BioNTech to take their booster dose after three months of the second dose of the similar kind.
