At least two people were killed and nine others were injured when a safari truck toppled over inside the Hurulu wild park in Habarana when the jeep was speeding away from a charging wild elephant.
Police said the injured were admitted to the Dambulla and Habarana Hospitals.
It was reported that the truck had toppled over as it was reversing after being chased by the elephant
