They are yet to receive their uniform for the year

Certain categories of minor staff of the august assembly are entitled to three sets of uniform every year, but they have yet to receive them for the current year despite the year being about to end, they say.Â

These employees usually get the uniform material at the beginning of every year, but the authorities concerned have failed to take necessary action to issue it this year.
“The assembly authorities don’t mind squandering public funds in billions. But when we inquire about the delay in issuing the uniform material, a white -collar high-up would ask us, ‘why can’t you people wear the uniform issued last year?” say the employees  “The nature of our duties is such that even three sets of uniform are not adequate. However, all employees of the assembly are expected to attend work well-groomed!” they point out.
