The funeral of Swedish DJ Avicii took place in a private ceremony in Stockholm last week, his publicist has confirmed.
The musician, whose real name was Tim Bergling, “was buried on Friday at the SkogskyrkogÃ¥rden cemetery in Stockholmâ€, Ebba Lindqvist said on Tuesday. “Only his family and closest friends were present.â€
Avicii, 28, was found dead in a hotel in Muscat, Oman.
No cause of death was released but police ruled out “criminal suspicionsâ€.
Bergling’s family appeared to suggest he took his own life, saying in a statement he “could not go on any longerâ€.
