Four faculties in the Mihintale complex of the Rajarata University have been closed from today till the 26th of December due to a viral fever spreading among students.
Accordingly the Applied Science Faculty, the Management Faculty, the Social Sciences Faculty and the Technology Faculty were closed.
Around 25 students affected by the virus had received medical treatment from the University Medical Centre yesterday.
The Vice Chancellor of the Rajarata University Professor Ranjith Wijewardhana said the final examination of the Social Sciences Faculty will also be postponed till the 27th due to the temporary closure.
