Nissanka Nanayakkara new Litro Gas Chairman

Nissanka Nanayakkara has been appointed the new Chairman of the Litro Gas Company.

The appointment was made by Chairman of the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Hemaka Amarasuriya.

The Litro Gas Company falls under the control of the Sri Lanka Insurance Cooperation.

Nissanka Nanayakkara replaces the company’s former chairman Shalila Munasinghe, who was arrested and remanded on charges of money laundering pertaining to the alleged hacking of the Far Eastern International Bank in Taiwan.

The bank was hacked through a computer virus last week while a sum of money was allegedly wired to the accounts of those involved in the crime at a Sri Lankan bank.
