All additional classes for the 2017 Grade 5 scholarship examination have been prohibited from 16th August midnight to the 20th August.
The Department of Examinations stated the temporary ban will be in effect until the end of the examination on the 20th of August.
Accordingly Commissioner General of Examinations WMNJ Pushpakumara said workshops, conferences, printing of model papers and digital and printed banners related to the exam are prohibited.
Therefore the possession of such is a direct violation of the 22nd article of the examinations act.
If anyone is found to be in violation of this order, a complaint can be lodged with the Police by calling 119 or 242-1111.
Furthermore the examination department can be informed by calling 1911 or the school examination organising branch on 2784-208 or 2784-537.
