The final Randoli perahera at the Historical Kandy Sacred Tooth Temple is scheduled to take to the streets today.
Diya-vadana Nilame Nilanga Daeaela said at a media briefing yesterday that the Perahera would begin facing the right direction at 7.53 p.m.
Meanwhile the final historical Ruhunu – Kataragama Maha Devalaya Perahera is also scheduled to parade streets at the auspicious time of 7.30 p.m. tonight.
The significance to tonights procession is that the perahera will proceed after a part of the offerings from the Kataragama Devalaya  is offered to the sacred Kirivehera Relic Dome.
The Kataragama Perahera Festival will come to a close after the water-cutting ceremony ceremony at the Menikganga Jeevamaali port at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
