Discussions were held between the Government Medical Officer’s Association (GMOA) and the secretary of the Ministry of Health.
Secretary of the GMOA, Dr. Haritha Aluthge stated that the discussions were carried out in a peaceful and constructive manner.
Dr. Aluthge said that several issues affecting the Doctors as well as the National Health Service were discussed with the Secretary of Health, where the secretary stated that the ministry would do its best to tackle the issues identified.
He praised the efforts made by the secretary of the Ministry of Health, for his cooperation with regards to solving the issues faced by the people involved in the countries health service.
