They said several incidents had been reported, where trishaw drivers had claimed money from unsuspecting motorists claiming that the side mirrors of their trishaws had been damaged. It was also reported that in some of the cases when the motorists got out of their vehilces to negotiate the culprits had fled off with the wallets.
The Police advised motorists to complain to the nearest police station in case they were victims of such incidents.
