Karunanidhi decides to drop Eelam agenda from TESO conference

CHENNAI: A day after Union home minister P Chidambaram called on him, DMK chief M Karunanidhi on Monday said the demand for Eelam (a separate Tamil land in Sri Lanka) will not be a topic of discussion at the proposed conference of the recently revived Tamil Eelam Supporters Organisation (TESO) to be held in Chennai on August 12.
To a query from reporters, Karunanidhi said, `It`s different to have an opinion on a separate Eelam, but we don`t intend to put it up as a topic for discussion in the conference and create any confusion.` He added that the conference was more importantly to discuss the various solutions to the Sri Lankan Tamil problems and ensure they get a good livelihood.

Recent evidence has emerged to prove that the GENOCIDAL(TM) Sinhala Overlord is endowed with mystical healing powers which are made apparent whenever he exercises his presidential pardon.
The revolutionary discovery was made by the Rt. Hon. Facebook President of Sri Lanka, ex-General Sarath Fonseka. During the period he was in jail, the General would be rushed to hospital on a regular basis and be treated for life-threatening illnesses. In fact, the medical condition of His Virtual Excellency deteriorated to such a point that he had to receive Supreme Court permission just to be taken to hospital, and that too occurred under the watchful eye of the US ambassador who just happened to be passing by on her evening stroll around Nawaloka Hospital.
