Keep guessing: US deploying fighter jets to the Gulf?
Wednesday, 2 May 2012 - 1:05 AM SL Time

The US says it has deployed a number of its most modern jet fighters to an air base in Southwest Asia. The announcement alarmed many, who suspect the base is actually in the United Arab Emirates just 200 hundred miles from Iran.

The Air Force did not specify the exact number or location of the recently-deployed F-22 Raptors, but confirmed that they had been sent to a base in Southwest Asia, a region that includes the UAE.

Such deployments strengthen military-to-military relationships, promote sovereign and regional security, improve combined tactical air operations and enhance interoperability of forces, equipment and procedures, said Air Force spokesman Capt. Phil Ventura.

The Tajmahal is Tejomahalay A Hindu Temple
Thursday, 3 May 2012 - 1:54 AM SL Time

Probably there is no one who has been duped at least once in a life time. But can the whole world can be duped? This may seem impossible. But in the matter of indian and world history the world can be duped in many respects for hundreds of years and still continues to be duped. The world famous Tajmahal is a glaring instance. For all the time, money and energy that people over the world spend in visiting the Tajmahal, they are dished out of concoction. Contrary to what visitors are made to believe the Tajmahal is not a Islamic mausoleum but an ancient Shiva Temple known as Tejo Mahalaya which the 5th generation moghul emperor Shahjahan Shahjahan commandeered from the then Maharaja of Jaipur. The Tajmahal, should therefore, be viewed as a temple palace and not as a tomb. That makes a vast difference. You miss the details of its size, grandeur, majesty and beauty when you take it to be a mere tomb. When told that you are visiting a temple palace you wont fail to notice its annexes, ruined defensive walls, hillocks, moats, cascades, fountains, majestic garden, hundreds of rooms archaded verendahs, terraces, multi stored towers, secret sealed chambers, guest rooms, stables, the trident (Trishul) pinnacle on the dome and the sacred, esoteric Hindu letter `OM` carved on the exterior of the wall of the sanctum sanctorum now occupied by the centotaphs. For detailed proof of this breath taking discovery, you may read the well known historian Shri. P. N. Oak`s celebrated book titled ` Tajmahal : The True Story`.

Between 50 and 100 people joined them in London by moving into Paternoster Square with tents and supplies on Tuesday night. However they were forced to leave by City of London officers just hours later.

Mastering The Mind OR How to Achieve Peace in Mind OR Diamond Sutra In Summary
Sunday, 6 May 2012 - 12:08 AM SL Time

If you want to achieve peace of mind you must

1. be committed to having all things achieve peace of mind. Note, however, that this has to be done without thinking that anything has achieved peace of mind.

2. be totally generous without ever thinking, `I am being generous`.

3 appreciate that the signs and characteristics by which you know things are not the things themselves.

The first two requirements involve what is called actionless-action. This involves doing things spontaneously and without thinking, `I am doing x.`

at Dambulla, Kuragala and Batticaloa where a Bhikku has been assaulted by members of a certain political party - NEWS MEDIA IS SILENT OVER THAT.

Dambulla, Kuragala and Batticaloa

| by Nalin de Silva

( May 09, 2012, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The recent incidents at Dambulla, Kuragala and Batticaloa where a Bhikku has been assaulted by members of a certain political party could be understood only if the ethnic problem is understood without resorting to hackneyed terms such as Sinhala Buddhist supremacy. At Batticaloa though a Buddhist Bhikku has been assaulted no human rights organisation, NGO or any such body has come forward to protect at least the human rights of the Bhikku. If a clergy of another religion had been attacked by a Sinhala Buddhist, there would have been a ruthless campaign against Sinhala Buddhist hegemony. At Kuragala the courts have decided on 20th April 2012 that the Bhikkus and the Sinhala Buddhist lay people are not at fault, and with that the human rights boys and girls have lost another opportunity to campaign against Sinhala Buddhist supremacy. The Sinhala Buddhists have been pushed to a corner and they have to be careful with what they have to say and do, as each step taken by them is being watched diligently by various local bodies as well by the so called international organisations. It is said by these humanists that Sinhala Buddhists think that the country belongs to them only and all the problems arise due to that. The Sinhala Buddhists are told that they should not celebrate the victory over the LTTE, an organisation financed, armed and trained by the westerners and Indians that had as its intention establishing an Eelam dividing the country. The country as a whole has to celebrate this victory against the LTTE, and those advocate otherwise probably are not happy that the biggest threat to a unitary Sri Lanka has been defeated.

Why Women Are Not Allowed in The Mosque
Tuesday, 15 May 2012 - 11:23 AM SL Time

Let`s talk about Islam. Do you know why WOMEN are not allowed in the Mosque? I bet you don`t. This is what happend at the Mosque. Every one in the village has to attend mosque on Friday. So no one is in the village. MULLA starts by making every one bend to say the prayers, men and woman. MULLA also bends looking in front, so no one looks back. A young boy fell in love with a young girl and they wanted to make love. Both the Girl and the Boy agreed to have sex while every one was praying. So the girl got her friends and the boy got his friends to surround them so that no one will notice it. But a jealous boy crept under crowed and alerted the girls father. When the girl`s father saw what was going on, took his knife and cut the penis of the boy. Boy`s father then stabbed the Girl`s father. Girl`s mothers_day.jsp' class=black>mother then Stabbed the boy`s mother. Boy`s 8 yera old brother cut the throat of the Girl`s mother. MULLA then found the jealousy boy who started this and stabbed him after cutting his penis. After one hour no one was alive in the Mosque and in the village. When no one came to visit MOHAMED he decided to visit the village. After seeing the two boys, without penises, he knew what happed. HE BANED ANY WOMAN coming near a Mosque he also orded that MULLA face the gathering. Women had to stay one mile away from a Mosque. This is why today, NO WOMAN can attend a Mosque. Now you know what this religion is about. As you state Muslims pray five times a day, then where is the time to do a honest job.

Austerity package must begin at the top - The Sri Lankan Government needs to take a lesson from what happened to defeated President Nicolai Sarkozy
Wednesday, 16 May 2012 - 9:16 PM SL Time

With the European Union and the United States still crumbling in their worst-ever financial crisis which signals the collapse of crony capitalism and corporate greed, France`s newly-elected President Francois Hollande, who was sworn in yesterday has pledged he would continue the austerity package, but it will begin with the rich and ruling elite.

The Sri Lankan Government needs to take a lesson from what happened to defeated President Nicolai Sarkozy and the new President`s pledge that he will first impose austerity at the top. Despite all the boasting about a good growth rate and gross domestic product, the reality in Sri Lanka is that the gap between the rich and the poor has grown to monstrous levels with some fifteen per cent of the people comprising the rich and ruling elite having eighty- five per cent of the country`s wealth and resources and still wanting to make more by fair means or fraudulent methods as seen in the current scandal involving the National Savings Bank.
