Pakistani Urdu TV channel Geo News quoted Pakistani intelligence officials as saying that the world`s most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden was killed in a search operation launched by the Pakistani forces after a Pakistani army helicopter was shot down in the wee hours of Monday in Abbotabad, a mountainous town located some 60 kilometers north of Pakistan`s capital city of Islamabad.
At about 1:20 a.m. local time a Pakistani helicopter was shot down by unknown people in the Sikandarabad area of Abbotabad. The Pakistani forces launched a search operation in the nearby area and encountered with a group of unknown armed people. A fire exchange followed between the two sides.

PRINCE William makes sure everything is shipshape as he helps Kate Middleton aboard.
These previously unseen snaps show the heir to the throne larking around on a sailing holiday with his future wife, her sister Pippa and some pals in 2006.
They soaked up the sun aboard Episode One the 700,000 yacht belonging to Kate`s uncle Gary Goldsmith off the coast of Ibiza.
Other shots show Kate looking on adoringly as Wills does backflips off the deck into the Med.
And there are a few of Pippa in a skimpy white halterneck bikini showing off the pert posterior that threatened to steal the show at her sister`s wedding on April 29.

UN and a Western country offered a ship for LTTE leaders to leave - KP

Former LTTE amrs procurer and on time leader in a revealing interview with an Indian Newspaper has claimed that around May 16 or 17, 2009 the UN and a Western government had asked if some LTTE leaders were ready to leave the country and if so they could send a ship and go somewhere.
Shanmugam Kumaran Tharmalingam (alias Selvarasa Pathmanathan, Kumaran Pathmanathan, or simply KP) is head of the now decimated Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). A wanted man in several countries, including India, in connection with Rajiv Gandhi`s assassination, KP had an inside view of the organisation that was once the most-dreaded terrorist organisation in the world before Al Qaeda upstaged it after 9/11. Among other things, he was considered LTTE`s arms procurer, though he now denies it. He also had insights into the thinking of LTTE`s supremo, Velupillai Prabhakaran.
