Tribute to Flight Lieutenant Monath Perera

Flight Lieutenant Monath Perera was born into this world on the 13th of October 1982.After completing his education at Mahinda College, Galle, Moanth`s passion for flying led him to enlist with the Sri Lanka Air Force on the 1st of August in 2004.
His outgoing personality made him a friend amongst many of his batch mates and this aspiring young pilot moved a step closer to his dreams when he was commissioned as a Pilot Officer on 08th of July in 2005. Barely two years later Monath Perera was promoted as Flying Officer in 2007, January.

Association of White Masters to Bring Democracy(TM) To Libya

Barack Obama, winner of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize, has led the Association of White Masters in a military campaign to share Libya`s oil deposits...oust Muammar Gaddafi and bring democracy(TM) to Libya.
American, French and British warships, submarines and fighter jets launched attacks on Libya to create a no-fly zone, raining democracy down on Gaddafi`s military assets (and the odd civilian lucky enough to be standing under Uncle Sam`s golden shower of liberation). This is part of the USA`s noble and long running quest to spread democracy(TM), freedom(C) and liberty(R) across the globe, as was covered by a TamilNet special report a few months ago.

JVP Mysteriously Disappears After Local Government Elections

TamilNet reports with great concern that the ultra-patriotic rathu sahodharayo of the JVP seem to have inexplicably vanished shortly after the election results were released.
Local and international democratic watchdogs have hired sleuths in a desperate attempt to find the missing comrades. The last they were heard of was during the final pre-election campaigning, where they were echoing the wise sentiments of their bum buddies in the UNP.
