uddhism and vegetarianism do not mix
Friday, 4 November 2011 - 9:06 AM SL Time

One of the most common myths about Buddhism says that Buddhists must be vegetarian. Those people, who believe so, usually mix up Buddhism with other religions that appeared on the territory of India - Hinduism or Jainism. Buddha has never urged anyone to refuse from eating meat. If you are in India, it will not be hard for you to do it, if you need to.

In Tibet, Buddhism is everywhere. However, even most religious people enjoy eating yak meat. When they wake up, they like to have a cup of local `tea` with salt, milk and animal fat. This drink is very important for local residents due to the mountainous climate. The world of plants is not rich in the region, so the primary sources of protein there is fish and animal meat.

Thousands of Years Old Hindu Practices - Yaagahoma and worshipping four directions etc., still exists.
Sunday, 6 November 2011 - 4:50 PM SL Time

HUNDREDS of thousands of Muslim pilgrims stoned Satan after massing today in a valley near the Saudi holy city of Mina, the last and most dangerous rite of the annual hajj.

Hundreds of people have been trampled to death in stampedes which have blighted several previous pilgrimages to Islam`s holiest sites when the faithful rush to hurl stones at huge pillars symbolising the devil.

To complete the ritual, a pilgrim must throw 21 pebbles at each of three 25m pillars.

`This ritual gives me moral strength. Right now I feel as though I`m defeating Satan,` said Mokhtar Khan, a 29-year-old who arrived at the site with dozens of fellow Bangladeshis who chanted `Allahu Akbar` (God is greatest).

German Government Publication Promotes Incestuous Pedophilia as Healthy Sex Ed
Sunday, 13 November 2011 - 1:41 AM SL Time

BERLIN, July 30, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Booklets from a subsidiary of the German government`s Ministry for Family Affairs encourage parents to sexually massage their children as young as 1 to 3 years of age. Two 40-page booklets entitled `Love, Body and Playing Doctor` by the German Federal Health Education Center (Bundeszentrale f r gesundheitliche Aufkl rung - BZgA) are aimed at parents - the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.

`Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and vagina of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex,` reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds. The authors rationalize, `The child touches all parts of their father`s body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same.`

Dreaming of You.
Sunday, 13 November 2011 - 10:16 AM SL Time

Late at night when all the world is sleeping
I`d stay up and think of you
And I`d wish on a star
That somewhere you are thinking of me too

Cuz I`m dreaming of you tonight
Till tomorrow, I`ll be holding you tight
And there`s nowhere in the world I`d rather be
Then here in my room,
Dreaming about you and me

Wonder if you even see me
And I wonder if you know I`m there
If you looked in my eyes
Would you see what`s inside?
Would you even care?

I just wanna hold you close

Woman in Love - Barbra Streisand
Sunday, 20 November 2011 - 10:22 AM SL Time

A Comment:

Coming from a woman these are the most romantic words a woman can tell a man.

Life is a moment in space
When the dream is gone
It`s a lonelier place
I kiss the morning good-bye
But down inside you know
We never know why

The road is narrow and long
When eyes meet eyes
And the feeling is strong
I turn away from the wall
I stumble and fall
But I give you it all

I am a woman in love
And I`d do anything
To get you into my world

Rs One Million and a Brand NEw Car Wedding Present.
Saturday, 26 November 2011 - 8:51 AM SL Time

-25.Nov.2011,9.00P.M.) When a child of a judge (male or female) marries , though it is not illegal for a country`s President and Speaker of Parliament to attend the wedding as attesting witnesses , it is a universally accepted and acknowledged truth that they are not invited by a judge as a custom and practice , for the judges are expected to be scrupulously clean and maintain the independence of the judiciary ( a paramount ingredient of Democracy in a Democratic country ) and its hollowed traditions of steering clear of politicians and politics, particularly the kind of politics in Sri Lanka where the highest of the political hierarchy himself is indulging in undermining Democracy and independence of judiciary with ruthless determination. It is also an established custom , that a judge should not attend any function , if it is not one of judge`s blood relatives. This is because apart from other reasons , the judge will not be able to impartially act or follow his/her conscience when she breaks with these time honored traditions for sordid selfish aims and ambitions or otherwise.

Sunday, 27 November 2011 - 2:08 AM SL Time

The Colombo Telegraph found the relevant leaked cable from the WikiLeak database. The cable recounts details of a meeting the US Ambassador has had with the Foreign Minister Bogollagama on November 2, 2009. The cable is classified as CONFIDENTIAL by the Deputy Chief of Mission Valerie C. Fowler.

When I Dream at Night
Tuesday, 29 November 2011 - 10:14 AM SL Time

When I dream at night - Marc Anthony

I have been in love and been alone
I have traveled over many miles to find a home
There`s that little place inside of me
That I never thought could take control of everything
But now I just spend all my time
With anyone who makes me feel the way she does

[Chorus:]

`cause I only feel alive when I dream at night
Even though she`s not real it`s all right
`cause I only feel alive when I dream at night
Every move that she makes holds my eyes

(Lanka-e-News -30.Nov.2011, 11.30P.M.) It is a hot theme of conversation among the judges` circles as to why the Lawyers for the accused Gen.
