Asia`s king of pop releases Murali tribute

In December last year, Muttiah Muralidaran became Test cricket`s leading wicket-taker and now the man known as `Asia`s king of pop` Alston Koch has written and released a song in his honour.
`From the east to the west, the one day-ers and the Tests,` the song proclaims, `red ball, white ball, no ball, dead ball we all know he`s the best.`
With lyrics like that, WWOS rates `Murali` as being right up there with Brett Lee`s song `You`re the one for me,` which the Australian bowler recorded with Bollywood legend Asha Bhosle.

Sri Lankan all-rounder Farveez Maharoof has said that he is disappointed and wants to know the reasons why he was dropped from the Sri Lanka squad for the forthcoming Tri Nation tournament which is starting on Friday in Dambulla involving Sri Lanka, India and New Zealand.
I am really disappointed I don`t know what happened but I can say that it hurt me a lot. I want to know the reasons behind my exclusion. Maharoof was quoted as saying by Indian website Zeecric.com.
