India showed tremendous character to come back from the controversial defeat of the 2nd Test to beat the mighty Aussies. The Aussies really wanted this victory as it would have meant a world record 17 straight wins. The Aussies play hard but this is one that they did not want to allow to get away. However the Indians had other ideas. After winning the toss and batting India were on top from Day 1. Of course to beat the Aussies you have to be on top of your game every session every day of the Test. Having been dogged by bad umpiring and flaring tempers earlier in the series India under the captaincy of Kumble showed tremendous discipline to beat the Aussies very convincingly within 4 days. This was a test of characer and India passed with flying colors. It was a glorious victory that all of South Asia can take pride in. Well done India. Lets do it one more time in the 4th Test.
