We love Tamils but oppose separatism, Pissu ney??
Monday, 24 January 2011 - 3:59 AM SL Time

Vociferous western province minister and Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) legal advisor Udaya Gammanpila has thrown a fresh challenge to Tamil leaders who claim they have a right to self-determination.
Gammanpila is steadfast in his views that Tamils have no right to self-rule but are entitled only to minority rights recognised by the UN in Sri Lanka.
His contention is that the Tamils, who claim to have grievances, should prove with empirical evidence that would convince the Sinhala masses.

The Sinhalese did not take up weapons against the Tamils despite several terrorist attacks on the community since 1984, the Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) said at the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC).
JHU general secretary and Power and Energy Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka, along with party spokesperson and UPFA Western Provincial Council member Udaya Gammanpila, presented their submissions to the commission on January 5.

Delusional retards, aka Pelam Demalas...
Monday, 8 November 2010 - 4:22 PM SL Time

The Obama administration has shown its support for the expected division of Sudan into two countries. Tamils for Obama points out parallels between Sudan and Sri Lanka: a long-running ethnic and religious civil war that probably will last forever if the warring parties are not separated. They also note that the countries who will profit from a renewed Sri Lankan civil war (China, Pakistan, Iran) are not friends of either India or the US. TfO urges Obama to raise the subject of partitioning Sri Lanka with the Indian government while he visits New Delhi this weekend.

My dear fellow We Thamizhs, Vanakkam

Dear Mc Donkeys:
Here`s another piece of advice from lessons I learnt the hard way, alas too late. You see, we Tamil racists always held a superiority complex. Our arrogance blinded us. We bought into the myth that our arch enemy, the Singhalams every man, woman and child were idiots. Over the decades, we broadcast their stupidity and our superiority and invincibility. But we did not stop to ask a crucial question: if the Singhalams were so stupid, how come they survived for more than 2,000 years, despite our best efforts to make them history or absorb them? I made that mistake. And it proved deadly.

Take a bow...

After a certain victory in the north, lovable General Denzil Kobbekaduwa came running and embraced him with fatherly affection. Before that the genial General shouted Yako Gota umba hari yakek ne (Gota you did it) He was the chosen one even then. Chosen one of the two most loved Generals of our times General Denzil Kobbekaduwa and Vijaya Wimalaratne.
Not only them, this battle hardened officer was loved by another no nonsense politician of our times, UNP minister of National Security, Ranjan Wijeratne. He did not want Gotabaya to leave the Army then. But, Ranjan knew that his hands were tied and it was no easy task to hold back officers like Gotabaya who had fought for the country for 20 long years. Though Ranjan wanted to end the war his leader at the time was not ready for it neither did they have a strategy to defeat the LTTE.

Poor Sarath Fonseka
Friday, 29 January 2010 - 4:18 AM SL Time

Honestly, there was nothing shocking about Fonseka`s loss in the 2010 presidential elections. Ask a nationalist if Sarath Fonseka was any more instrumental in the defeat of the Tigers than Brigadier Shavendra Silva, and the answer is more than likely going to be `no`.
The Commander of the 58th division (formerly Task Force 1), Shavendra Silva, was instrumental in taking on the Tigers deep in their heartland. Troops under his command ran through Tamil Tiger strongholds, taking town after town, progressing quicker than most experts thought possible. The voter base Fonseka hoped to garner support from knew all too well the most minutest detail of how the war was won.
