By C.P. Kuruppu:[COLOMBO, SinhalaNet 2007.12.26 07:45AM] The time has now come for the government to look beyond the budget and take steps without delay to arrest the sky-rocketing cost of living, which is now the last trump card of Ranil Wickremesinghe`s UNP and other anti-national elements.

JVP BLOODY TERROR Thursday, 27 December 2007 - 2:00 AM SL Time

THE SIN OF MAXIMALISM

(December, 25, Colombo, Sri Lana Guardian) The end as well as the beginning of the Second JVP Insurgency is shrouded in well constructed and maintained myths. Contrary to received wisdom the state did not want a military solution to the JVP problem. It was not intent on drowning the insurgency in blood.
