Rani Mukerji (Bengali: র া ণ ী ম ু খ া র ্ জ ী ) born on March 21, 1978, is an Indian film actress who works in Bollywood movies.

Making her acting debut with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1996), Mukerji had her first commercial success with Karan Johar`s romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), her biggest hit so far, and won a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the film. She later starred in many films, most of which fared below expectations. She re-invented her image with Saathiya (2002), which was commercially and critically successful.

Kerala Moru Curry Recipe

Ingrediants:
Curd - 2 cup

Pepper Powder - tsp

Fenugreek Powder - 1 pinch

Turmeric Powder - tsp

Ginger (sliced) - 1 tsp

Garlic (chopped) - 2 nos

Green Chili - 2

Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp

Mustard Seed - tsp

Red Chili - 2

Curry Leaves - 1 stem

Salt - As required

Procedure:
Blend the curd without water. Add Pepper powder, turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, fenugreek powder, salt, then keep on fire and stir. Stir well and remove from fire when heated. Do not let to boil.

(WASHINGTON) President Barack Obama on Saturday tempered excitement about a growing economy with a sober outlook that more people will lose their jobs. He called that a heartbreaking reality and cautioned that even a burst of upbeat news `does not mean there won`t be difficult days ahead.`

Obama`s straddle served to set expectations for a nation emerging from recession but anxious for an economic security that has not nearly returned.

New York`s recently released review of the environmental risks (PDF) posed by natural gas production in the Marcellus shale offers the clearest picture yet of the chemicals used in the drilling process called hydraulic fracturing.

The document makes public the names of 260 chemicals, more than eight times as many as Pennsylvania state regulators have compiled. The list is the most complete released by any state or federal agency and could help answer concerns about hydraulic fracturing in Congress and in states where gas drilling has increased in recent years.

Shortly before 9 a.m. last Saturday, more than 400 people waited in line outside the Balboa Sports Complex in Encino, Calif., anxious to enter one of several Los Angeles County Public Health clinics offering free H1N1 vaccines to those considered high-risk. The first person in line had arrived at midnight, while many others had assembled well before dawn to ensure they would get the vaccine when the clinic doors opened at 9. Over the next several weeks, the county will distribute the 300,000 doses of H1N1 vaccine it received out of the 1.3 million doses sent to California by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). However, Dr. Jonathan Fielding, director of public health and health officer for Los Angeles County, says the county will need at least 5.5 million doses to cover those in high-risk categories for flu-related complications.

Getting people out of cars and onto bicycles, a much more sustainable form of transportation, has long vexed environmentally conscious city planners. When Patricio Lau came to the U.S. from Nicaragua eight years ago as a teenager, it didn`t take him long to notice one of his new home`s more glaring paradoxes. Despite the country`s vast wealth and medical resources, the working-class Miami neighborhood where his family settled had scant access to family physicians and most people saw a doctor only when a costly emergency hit. To Lau, it didn`t seem much different from the situation back in his impoverished Nicaraguan hometown of Chinandega. `Miami has a lot of problems, but the biggest is that too many people don`t get primary medical care,` says Lau, now 23. `There`s a bit of a mind-set that being a doctor here means taking care of pretty people on pretty beaches.`
