The LTTE officially launched its long awaited Great Counter-attack on Saturday by nobly blowing up the bund of Kalamadukulam tank and DROWNING 1 000 000 Sinhaloids who were all having a picnic near the bund. To celebrate it, we tactically withdrew from our last totally worthless insignificant ghost town of Mullaitivu on Sunday.
As usual, the 150% non-cowardly Tigers chose not face the SLA in battle because we all know that it will result in a bloodbath of homophobes. So the Tigers mercifully decided to blow up the bund and flood all the Tamil areas, beautifully flooding paddy fields and creating a breeding ground for cholera and other water-borne diseases which will kill ONLY the Sinhaloids and NOT the Tamil civilians there.

If there were any doubt about the India Premier League`s being a major international sporting event, it was ended this week as the league and the news media staged one of those stand-up arguments about coverage and intellectual property rights that have become an invariable part of the prelude to World Cups in all sports.
Not that there was ever much doubt about the league`s status. Ever since the owners of the eight franchises threw vast sums at the world`s prime talent at the India Premier League player auction in February, it has been a given that the cricket world would never be the same again. The only debate has been as to whether the change will be beyond recognition or not.

Intelligence officer Nilam missing

A top intelligence officer of the Sri Lanka Army, Captain S.H. Nilam, who was the defence attaché at the Sri Lanka Embassy in Jakarta, has gone missing since last month. Another top official at the Jakarta embassy has reportedly received death threats from the LTTE.
State intelligence informed the government that Captain Nilam, his wife and three children had gone missing since April 23, a highly placed government official said.
