Who gains the most by killing Lasantha Thursday, 15 January 2009 - 7:26 AM SL Time

What would the government gain by killing Lasantha at this moment seems to be the standard response we get from those who wish to white wash the Brothers .

My response to them is PLENTY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lasantha was no ordinary journalist. As the political column of The Island pointed out, Lasantha was the de facto opposition leader. The difference was, he discharged his duties with vigor, charisma and boldness, RW can only dream of possessing!!!
Killing Lasantha is not only the elimination of, the boldest whistle blower, of corruption in the government.

Our Great Leader bids good bye Wednesday, 14 January 2009 - 4:07 AM SL Time

`Wifey, I love you`

By Sonali Samarasinghe

It is not immediately apparent that Lasantha is a romantic. He is also incredibly shy for a person so much in the lime light. He would often squirm uncomfortably as scores of people would walk up to him at restaurants, malls, on the street, and admire his life work.

Perhaps in life there is no greater gift than marrying your best friend. And today as I look upon his lifeless frame I feel blessed for that. Little was I to know when we carefully eliminated beef from the modest menu to be served at a small reception for a few relatives and friends that two months to the day my best friend would lay murdered in a pool of blood.

First step to replace oil : Long-awaited electric sports car rolls out Sunday, 4 May 2008 - 12:39 PM SL Time

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- It`s safe to say Jeremy Snyder gets a charge out of the two-seat Tesla Roadster whenever he pulls one off the lot, and not because it`s equipped with an all-electric engine.

As he pulled one of the sleek new automobiles down a side street Thursday and put the pedal to the metal, its lithium-ion battery-powered engine didn`t give off sparks. It just emitted a powerful hum, like a much quieter version of a jet taking off.
