Tamil parlimentarians who were elected by the people of the region were not given access to the camp until two days ago. it was a day before john holmes come to srilanka they were given access to the camps. and there were some speedy release of some people too mainly weak and elderly were thrown out of the camps. because srilankan want to portray they are looking after this people well.

other development taking place at the same time those who were released go under the released list as soon as they enter that release the family heads are arrested and the 25,000 given to them is robed. if they did not have any money to pay the sinhala looters they are taken to CID camps where they will be forced to sign a letter written in sinhala possibly saying they were sucide bombers targetted srilanka presidents dog.

today is the 180 days from the may 19th. government told the world we will resettle 80% polpulation within that 180 days.
what has happend?
Tamils homes are looted then bombed. government looted tamil farmers farms. ysterday news of ricebowl was cultivated, all the hard work done by tamil farmers are looted by sinhala nazis.
even roof and windows of tamils homes are removed by sinhala nazis. some places they have settled sinhala criminals in tamils homes.
when tamil families return to their home they were shocked to see sinhala criminals living in the houses , then the head of family is abducted by sinhala troops and slaughtered. this is how the ethnic cleansing happening in srilanka.

Sri Lanka Says Tamil Tigers` International Network Still Active

Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Sri Lanka`s peace will be secured only when the international network of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam is dismantled after the defeat of the rebel military wing in May, Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa said.

It is only when these elements have also been defeated that we can claim to have truly secured our nation, Rajapaksa said in a speech posted on the government`s Web site late yesterday. To prevent the LTTE raising its head again, we should act now and act decisively.

The government on Friday declined to comment on the letter.

`He is just another public servant who had retired,` said defence spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella. `Perhaps he is not in a good health and not able to perform duties.` (Writing by Bryson Hull Editing by Nick Macfie)

News reports from Colombo indicate Sri Lanka government is planning to revise the Theasa Vazhamai law of Tamils, which is a constituent legal code, ever since the formulation of the island`s current legal system by the Dutch. The urgency of the Sri Lanka state at this juncture is not social reformation but grabbing the lands of Tamils without legal hurdles, besides removing last vestiges of Tamil sovereignty in the state apparatus, Tamil legal circles said.

it is reported Gen Ponseka is on the run , following calls by international community to try ponseka for war crimes. ponseka is to testify today before the US home security.

Some say the police are getting out of control
Sri Lanka`s war ended in May but one branch of its security forces is now under particular scrutiny.
There has been an outcry against the police over brutal acts they are said to have committed.
People have also been protesting against their crackdown on organised crime, saying they are getting out of control.
A focus for public anger is the impoverished village of Angulana, half an hour to the south of the capital, Colombo.
