History Lesson 2 - How the mighty tigers were treated by the beloved `White Master` Wednesday, 11 November 2009 - 9:49 PM SL Time

Figers and figer supporting We TamiZH clan were in the rosy dream seeing Eelam. The ultra smart We TamiZH clan thought that the `White Master` will never let Sri Lankans eliminate figers. The clearly visible reality was rejected and We TamiZHs fell to the LIES they created to fool the rest of the world while the whole world ignored those lies.
Even when the death tapping at the door near Nanthikadal those figers still had the utmost faith in White Master. Then White Master got onto his two legs and did exactly this.

History lesson 1 - How Velu anna ELIMINATED yet another obstacle. Wednesday, 4 November 2009 - 11:48 PM SL Time

Yogeswaran was apparently briefed to patch up the relationship with the LTTE and Amirthalingham. It was later reported that Yogeswaran had held four meetings with two LTTE men to forge unity among the different Tamil militant groups and also with the TULF.

Subsequently, he arranged a meeting between the LTTE and Amirthalingham, at 7pm on July 13, 1989. That evening Amirthalingham and Sisvasithamparam were due to attend a dinner party hosted by the Indian High Commissioner in Colombo, at the Hotel Taj Samudra, in honor of B G Deshmukh, the Principal Secretary, who had delivered the last letter from Rajiv Gandhi to the Sri Lankan president.

Big Mac - Even a freedom fighter in deathbed cannot resist Sunday, 11 October 2009 - 4:33 PM SL Time

If I`m a marketing manager for Mc Donalds I will be in a pressure to attract more people to eat Mc Donalds burgers. But now its high time for those Mc Donalds marketing managers in UK to promote Mc Donalds. The theme should be Mc Donalds - none can resist, not even a freedom fighter who`s fasting unto death behalf of his bretheren in Sri Lanka.

The tragedy started with the war between LTTE and SLDF and thousands of Piece loving diaspora TamiZHs who call themselves We TamiZHs dropped their toilet cleaning work for a few days and gathered in Western capitals to block a few roads. These We TamiZHs took the tiger flag and they even printed nice looking T-shirts for the event. They blocked the roads, pooped in parking lots and some even jumped to Thames, but no one could beat the heroics of our main man of the show Mr Parameswaran. Parameswaran successfully showed the world that he is indeed fasting for 24 days. Knowing the stance of GOSL the general public was sure a scenario similar to Thileepan`s fasting. Alas, our hero Mr Parameswaran went back home after a successful fast for 24 days.

Dedicated to a miracle maker - Please serve SL Cricket well Hathurusinghe Tuesday, 6 October 2009 - 8:59 PM SL Time

In the past two months or so if the once vulnerable Sri Lanka middle-order batting has shown some form of consistency in one-day internationals it is due to the presence of batsmen like Thilan Samaraweera, Thilina Kandamby and Angelo Mathews. What is common with all three players is that they have at some point of their career come up against Chandika Hathurusingha, the former A team coach and presently shadow coach of the national team. What Hathurusingha has done to change the outlook of these players and make them permanent fixtures in the one-day team is simply amazing.

Let`s protect CULTURE, elephants can take care of themselves Saturday, 26 September 2009 - 11:25 AM SL Time

Sri Lankans get so pi$$ed when someone is trying to question our CULTURAL VALUES and our love to Buddhism. With all due respect to the good cultural values and the great philosophy we follow (or at least use to cover our sins using them as a white sheet), we have to think deeply `are we really protecting these values?`.

Take the stories of Kapila and the two tuskers who were ABDUCTED from their mother`s warmth for an example. Did the leaders stand for what they CRY OUT LOUD 24/7 to protect? This country waged a war and we fought against an outfit who abduct children from thier parent`s protection. Then it was sad to see what happened to those two baby elephants amidst the protest from a nation. The criminals who did this went all out on national tv talking about a conspiracy against BUDDHISM and our CULTURE. Yes that was the most sensitive white paint they could find.

A Very Long Engagement - A beautiful movie for movie lovers Saturday, 22 August 2009 - 10:14 AM SL Time

A Very Long Engagement (French: Un long dimanche de fian ailles) is a 2004 French romantic war film, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and starring Audrey Tautou. It is a fictional tale about a young woman`s desperate search for her fianc who might have been killed on a World War I battlefield (the Somme). It was based on a novel of the same name, written by Sebastien Japrisot, first published in 1991.

Five soldiers are convicted of self-mutilation in order to escape military service during World War I. They are condemned to face near certain death in the no man`s land between the French and German trench lines. It appears that all of them were killed in a subsequent battle, but Mathilde, the fianc e of one of the soldiers, refuses to give up hope and begins to uncover clues as to what actually took place on the battlefield. She is all the while driven by the constant reminder of what her fianc had carved into one of the bells of the church near their home, MMM for Manech Aime Mathilde (Manech Loves Mathilde a pun on the French word aime, which is pronounced like the letter `M`. In the English-language version, this is changed to `Manech Marries Mathilde`).

La Foule by Edith Piaf. Wednesday, 19 August 2009 - 11:13 PM SL Time

Edith Piaf is regarded as France`s greatest popular singer. An artist with great voice who is still famous today. Her lifestory can be seen in the movie `La Vie En Rose` where Marion Cotillard acted as Edith Piaf. For movie lovers who love good movies I recommend you La Vie En Rose which is based on true events and very nicely done. Marion won the an Academy award for her role in the movie and I saw one of the best actings I`ve ever seen in the movie.
This is a movie one shouldn`t miss.

Here is something more about Edith Piaf
