Yves Rossy (born 27 August 1959) is a Swiss pilot, inventor and aviation enthusiast. He is nicknamed Jet Man and Fusion Man for being the first person to achieve sustained human flight using a jet-powered fixed wing strapped to his back.

Rossy developed and built a system comprising a back pack with rigid aeroplane-type carbon-fiber wings with a span of about 8 feet (2.4m), powered by four attached jet engines modified from model aircraft engines. His first flight occurred in November 2006 in Bex, lasting nearly six minutes. Yves later successfully flew across the English Channel on 26 September 2008 in under 10 minutes (9 minutes 7 seconds), reaching a speed of 186 mph during the crossing.

The idea of putting this video here is not to do propaganda, but to give some insights as to what it was like during the later stages of Jayasikuru. The video has annotations attached to it so that it would be easier for any non-Tamil speaker to follow.

This is one of my all-time favourite songs. Dude sings after losing out on love, it looks like. Anyways, the music is what caught my attention.

For a movie of late 70`s, the quality of the composition by Ilaiyaraaja was well ahead of its time. The tune brings about enough melancholy, which was required by the movie script.

The prelude starts with a neat flow of piano composition to set the mood up for the song. First interlude has a good guitar piece and the second has an excellent solo violin towards its end.

This kind of empty talks reminds me of Nai Sekar of Thalai Nagaram (Capital City) movie, especially when Vadivelu forcefully gets arrested to escalate his image..! :):):)
