This was filmed at a ceremony at the Wagha border where Indian and Pakistani troops were staging some sort of musical.

Observe how one Indian soldier outdoes his Pakistani counterpart at the high kick salute. Respect, jawan! What a fearsome soldier! How well trained he is! The Pakistanis must be shaking in their boots!

1) Thanks to the efforts of our soldiers (plus the other security divisions of the SLDF), all our children are free from terrorism.

From the comments on the Youtube video, this twister appeared in Puttalam on October 3 and follows an earlier twister in Puttalam in April. Can someone please confirm if there was a twister in the area 2 or 3 days ago?

Since Maninder most kindly dedicated an article to me on his page some time ago, I felt it`s only right to reply in kind to LNP`s own venerable military expert.

Meet Maj-General Ashok Mehta. Most of you would`ve heard about him. Here he is displaying just how great a military analyst he is.

And he`s a retired MAJOR-GENERAL in the Indian Army too! Just imagine what lesser officers must be like!

With such talented officers as him, it is no wonder that the Indian military is most totally the very best of the best, with a string of 100% successful military operations under their belt. Their latest success is the marathon SURGICAL OPERATION ((C) Maninder) in Mumbai where 12 or 14 attackers were most spectacularly neutralised by India`s finest elite troops in just 4 days, fighting the guerillas like guerillas ((C) CIJWS). All at the cost of the small matter of over 180 civilian lives plus Mumbai`s head of Counter-terrorism! What professionalism! SLDF, eat your heart out!

A survey has revealed that Sri Lankans are the most satisfied in Asia. Grey Group Asia Pacific, a leading Marketing Communications Company made this revelation.

It did so releasing its latest 2009 Eye on Asia study, which looks at the hopes and dreams of people in 16 countries and regions across the Asia Pacific region. According to the survey, 93 percent of Sri Lankans surveyed, were satisfied with their lives. The survey also disclosed that Sri Lankans remained optimistic about their future.

Looks like Bloomberg is free of LTTE influence, which is a good thing as can be seen through their unbiased and factual bulletins on us that are watched by business heavyweights around the world. Just goes to show that the LTTE diASSpora only has a say in other news companies which are minor in comparison and are only interested in sensationalist news to make a quick buck.
