This is not a Avrudu Kumari. She is not a South Indian or Hindi actress. She is the Daughter of LTTE Leader Velupilli Prabakaran. Her name is Duwaraha Prabakaran. We are showing this photograph for this news items, because most of the Tamil people themselves have not seen her, and the real life that Prabakaran and his children live, is a secret even to the Tamil people. Though a capsule of cyanide is hung across the neck of the youth in the North, along with a T-56, Duwaraha is holding a rose in her arms. She is living a very comfortable life in England right now. Duhara Prbahakaran was born in 1986 in Madras, she studied upto A/L in Kilinochchi. Prabakaran and his wife Maduwadani, eldest son Charles Anthony, he is in the center of this picture. Charles Anthony also got princely treatment growing up and lived in Vanni. He has spent most of his life in England and other European countries. Prabakaran had a secret life that he did not tell the world, this was disclosed in the recent findings of his family albums and personal letters.

Love Lust & Marriage
LOVE - When your eyes meet across a crowded room.
LUST- when your tongues meet across a crowded room.
MARRIAGE - When you try to lose your spouse in a crowded room.
LOVE - When intercourse is called `making love.`
LUST - When intercourse is called `screwing.`
MARRIAGE - When intercourse is a town in Pennsylvania. There really is one.
LOVE - When you argue over how many children to have.
LUST - When you argue over who gets the wet spot?
MARRIAGE - When you argue over whose idea it was to have kids.

Dubai-based Emirates said two of its pilots from Sri Lanka were among the first to fly the new Airbus A380 super jumbo aircraft.
Suren Ratwatte has flown the prototype aircraft registered as F-WWDD out of Airbus Industries home airfield in Toulouse France on June 18, while Suhail Hashim flew the same aircraft the following day.
The pilots had joined Emirates in 1989.
`The A380 is the world`s largest commercial aircraft, and Suren`s and Suhail`s achievement is a tribute to the abilities of our pilots,` Chandana de Silva, Emirates area manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives said in a statement.

Sole liberators

There are hardly any services but mainly extortion. The LTTE has virtually taken over all enterprises except those of dhobis (washermen) and barbers. Everyone selling something or doing a service must issue a receipt so that tax could be collected. The combined intelligence services prevent evasion. Receipts must be issued whether it is fixing a punctured bicycle tyre or selling a dried palm leaf pyramidal basket for steaming pittu. When the LTTE took over houses, and if the owners were lucky enough for the LTTE to agree to return them, they were given huge bills for fictitious improvements.

Amara Karunakaran

BRITISH hottie Amara Karan, who shares steamy kisses with Jason Schwartzman in `The Darjeeling Limited,` which opened Friday, hopes everybody sees the movie - except her mom. The Oxford grad told `She`s Sri Lankan and quite conservative. If she were to see that kissing, she`d be horrified.` Karan, who`ll next play a bad schoolgirl named Peaches in `St. Trinians,` began as an investment banker out of college but switched to acting. `Mom was absolutely devastated,` Karan said. `She`s waiting for the day I pack it all in and go back to finance.` That won`t happen, she assured us.

MONIKAA MANIA
Thursday, 5 June 2008 - 2:44 PM SL Time

She is beautiful, charming and riding high on the waves of success. Even as she awaits her first film release in Sri Lanka, Monikaa Maruthiraj is being recognised by the cognoscenti. Her enchanting dancing moves in the song Bingu Nade from the soundtrack of Rosa Kele have become a hit, making this South Indian beauty the latest sweetheart in Sinhala cinema.
She smiled continuously whilst posing for photographs. In between the costume changes Monikaa would come to me and apologise for having to keep me waiting. Finally she arrived apologising once again this time in a South Indian manner.
