Whoever wins First 15 major cities, will be the winner Monday, 28 December 2009 - 12:08 AM SL Time

[It looks like MR has no chance winning Galle and Matara districts according to my sources. MR will get Hambantota. Galle is certainly in the SF column and Matara leaning towards SF. Election is going to be interesting to say the least. ] - Dewey

List of United States Presidents by military service Friday, 11 December 2009 - 11:50 AM SL Time

Lot of people are confused and vaguely argue that SF made a mistake by entering into politics. After the war, MR did not have any political challenge and thought that next presidential election is going to be an easy walk in the park with Ranil plus had the potential for easy 2/3 majority in the parliament as well. But SF`s sudden emerge posed an unexpected challenge and shattered his dreams.

SF could easily retire and spend a quality life while keeping his so called `proud general` concept intact. By entering into politics, he was scolded and insulted by every `balu natta` in the country. Sometimes SF will not win the election, but so far he made a huge positive impact on SL political sphere.
