Picasso Exhibition Saturday, 31 October 2009 - 7:48 AM SL Time

People have called me Da Vinci, Picasso.
Others have said it is Modachoon.
Thinkwinkz called me a nudist :))
Some have called me a terrorist and yet others have called me a Sinhala boot licker.
In my view these were my thoughts at various times during the conflict. Some may like it and others may not. I don`t apologise.
I just thought of showing some of my creations before I retire this memory stick.
The pics are not great and the editing is imperfect. But look at the message.
Feel free to trash me. I will be gradually limiting my LNP times. I will install my Coral programme soon - so my pics will get better.

Pack your bags, Mr, President Saturday, 5 September 2009 - 6:21 AM SL Time

Before visiting any place it is essential to do some background checks.

So we did this for dear Mahinda. No flight info is included since we are expecting free one way tickets.

The Hague, officially called Gravenhage, is the third largest city in the Netherlands and part of `Randstad Holland`, capital of the province of Zuid- Holland, the seat of the Dutch government and the residence of the royal family. It lies close to the North Sea, and the seaside resort of Scheveningen is within the city limits. The Hague, a place of residence much favored by retired people, including many from the former Dutch colonies (hence its nickname, the `widow of India`).

Underworld Thursday, 3 September 2009 - 3:00 PM SL Time

You can judge a man from the company he keeps. If you see where Modapakse has been to, in the last year and a bit, a pattern emerges. How long is he going to orbit in this under world?
Why is Dutugemunu not welcome in decent democratic countries?

And talk about his battle with the underworld in Srilanka!
:))

Aani travels comes to the President`s rescue Sunday, 30 August 2009 - 7:03 AM SL Time

The decision was astute. Waldorf Astoria would have been nice. But we can`t take a chance. Anyone who knows what happened to Augusto Pinochet when he visited UK will be reluctant to tempt fate. The Modaveerayas have bitten hard and need a break. And Modapakse had promised them one, when he unleashed them on Tamil territories in April May. If they are not looked after, they will turn on their boss. That`s the nature of bulldogs. Give them what they want, and they leave you alone.

So what can be done? Aani travels, in combination with Mihinair, offers many destinations. Modapakse has a wide choice. Will he take it?

Monsters unearthed Saturday, 4 July 2009 - 5:40 PM SL Time

Monster haul: Three new dinosaurs discovered

The remains of three new dinosaur species, including a flesh-eating predator, have been found in Queensland`s outback. The carnivore, nicknamed Banjo, which was found near two giant herbivores in a waterhole in Winton, is the most complete meat-eater ever found in the country.

A Queensland Museum palaeontologist, Scott Hucknall, said the animal, known as Australovenator wintonensis, was bigger than the velociraptor, whose `disemboweling` sickle claw helped earn its fierce reputation.

Penns can`t even dress properly Sunday, 1 February 2009 - 2:17 AM SL Time

Next time Angelina, do check the label
By Guy Adams in Los Angeles

She is one of the most glamorous women on the planet, whose every red-carpet appearance is scrutinised by an army of photographers and tooth-sucking style commentators. But Angelina Jolie stands accused of an extraordinary fashion faux pas.
The actress sparked heated debate yesterday, after it emerged that the striking, but somehow odd-looking, blue dress she wore to Sunday`s Screen Actors Guild awards in Los Angeles had been worn back to front.

Weather is different, clothes are different, the feelings are one Saturday, 31 January 2009 - 12:52 PM SL Time

I have been critical of LTTE in the past and will continue to be so. But Mahinda Rajapakse`s true face is becoming apparent by the day. The civilian casualties in safe areas are mounting. Hospitals are being bombed. The injured are bleeding to death. The people are being starved.

A whole people are asked to leave their habitat and subject themselves to humiliating `screening` under a barbaric army with a proven track record of rape and mass murder. Those who heeded this warning have disappeared from the face of the earth. Even those who have been living under this savage government`s rule have been periodically going missing by their thousands.
