It is not the problem of Sri Lanka that Tamils didn`t have a country,but became a problem to other countries.Sri Lanka could have helped Tamils to create a homeland aka a Social Republic in Tamil Nadu.But then again Tamil Nadu is not as fertile as Sri Lanka and there is a issue that even Tamils from Tamil Nadu prefer Sri Lanka to their Tamil Nadu.Recent protests and failed attempts to collapse Indian government with empty threat have proved that Sri Lanka plays a big role in the survival of the people in Tamil Nadu...:-)
