Glad everything`s fine with you. All OK at this end too-thnx. :))) Apart from the cross cousin business-which used to be true among rural people has almost died out mate! :))) The prevalence of incest-perhaps you should take a closer look at their ethnicities- I`ve heard of these extremely rarely-rarer than that recent case in Austria! Kandy rehab centre must be serving the Tea Estate areas as well? I`m a native from Kandy area (Sinhalese) and that incest thingy - I`ve hardly heard or seen or heard among my community- dont know much about the estate workers though! Among the Estate guys not only cross cousins ,but a guy can marry his sister`s daughter too! And I dont think it has become uncommon either among them yet! |
