[So in this context, i don`t think the fact that the SLN failed to bring down these takaran planes is a setback. Also, i don`t believe that what the planes bombed in Trinco is a setback to the GoSL. It might be one for say the Trinco base which is trying to establish more man power in the area, or soemthing like that, but it`s definitely not a setback to the wanni operation or the total operation against the LTTE!
Anyway Berty, it`s all subjective, depending on what contexts you look at... but to me, this attempted bombing is not a setback! It`s a failed airstrike attempt (even though i don`t think the LTTE were truely planning on acheiving a successful airstrike!)]
whether you call THIS as `setback` or `threat` does not matter. what matters is what the next target of TEAF will be:)))
