IT is not the desperation of the tamil people that is at display here. It is the desperation of SLA where men are going MIA faster than normal & they had to recruit Baby brigades from deep south who are then fed as cannon fodder to tiger hunting machine. Poor Babies who think that war is child`s play get roasted due to far sighted policies of Mahinda Chinthanya.] Well I doubt the fact that LTTE is not desperate at this time. With the advancing SLDF, the LTTE are trying whatever they can to stop this advance. First it was prime warning that SLDF will be crushed if they enter tiger territory. So far nothing of that sort other than some incidents. Next they declared a ceasefire where the government threw that offer in the garbage.(which was like a slap in the face to the LTTE) next most in this forum were saying right after the ceasefire LTTE will attack with superior power where SLDF will be driven back. Next some were saying if they enter the district of Killinochi the LTTE will rain down on WMD s so far none. You see at the end of the day look what s happening? The LTTE starts reporting on how one soldier dies or how one SLDF vehicle was captured or how they repulsed an attack of a five man DPU unit and drove them away. I think this is desperation at it s best. As for your claim anybody over 18 years of age are allowed to join the army. Also no one is FORCED to join the army. Unlike the LTTE who snatch kids and make them recruits. Here you are taunting at a soldier who was 18 or 2. See now? Why talk about desperation when LTTE is at full by recruiting all young and old who is capable of lifting a gun. |
