It is interesting to see how you are still resorting to the same rhetoric without taking any effort to verify the facts. However, I cannot blame you for that. It is indeed unfair to expect you to do something those so called Sinhala scholars (of the likes of Dr. Kumar Rupasinghe, Dr. Brian Seneviratne, Dr. Jehan Perera etc) have never attempted. For example, it is not difficult to find rhetorical bashing of Sinhala Buddhist deer skin by these so called intellects for brining in the Official Language Bill of 1956. However, what is more difficult to find is a proper explanation to why Tamils got panicked when Sinhala is made the official language, especially having shown no such epileptic convulsion towards English which remained Sri Lanka s official language for more than a century. -Muchalinda . |
