[Army hands over nine LTTE bodies by Dinasena Rathugamage : Vavuniya Corr. The Army on Wednesday handed over nine bodies of LTTE cadres killed in confrontations with the military to the Vavuniya Hospital. Of the nine, seven were women. All nine bodies were later transported to Kilinochchi through the Omanthai check point The bodies were of youngsters. Several weapons were recovered from the dead cadres. The LTTE has obviously run short of senior fighters and engaged youngsters without any fighting experience, in front line operations the Army said.] |
