[It is a tough task for a minority candidate to become president in any country. Not just in SL. Look at USA. Obama has a good chance because the incumbent is a total moran and he had the support of the party. Still it is a tough thing to do.] I am with you on that..and I agree the same in SL..what do you call that? Minority and the Majority is still not ready.. How many Blacks are in the Senate and leaders on different org but still when it has to be the TOP job..White (majority) are still not ready..How do people look at when they vote..the don`t see whether the man is capable but go on race and majority... U don`t have to be a rocket scientist to know this.. Tell me if you put KADIR against say a sinhalese as Mervin or Duminda..even then Kadir would have lost..That is the reality my friend |
