[A Tamil can become a president in Sri Lanka. Becoming a president does not mean he has free will to do anything. He needs the support of the people and the various sections of the society. That is how our ancient Tamil kings ruled Sri Lanka ]
but after 1948 it is not the case.
forget about presidency as he is directly elected by the people for the post.
what about PM post. PM is appointed by the party/predident in power. why there is no single PM a minority community. tamil/muslim at least in rotation. why cant give an opportunity to tamil/muslim as PM when president is sinhalese
